She comes from a farming background. Her initial education was completed at Coimbatore, and she completed her upper education in Covai and Chennai. In 1993, she began her legal career in Chennai High Court. She started concentrating primarily on her political career once she entered active politics and ran in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections twice (in 2011 for Mylapore, Tamil Nadu, and in 2016 for Coimbatore South, Tamil Nadu).

Vanathi Srinivasan is an Indian Politician and Lawyer based in Tamilnadu. She is an MLA in the Legislative Assembly of Tamilnadu from Coimbatore South Constituency. For her insightful and impactful social activities toward women’s empowerment, she was selected as the President of the Women’s Wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
